The information an app handles depends on the features you use.

Information you provide

This may include profile details, messages, notes and photos, recordings or videos you choose to submit. Some apps also use health, wellbeing or other personal details you add. When you use a connected feature, the relevant content and context are processed by our services and service providers to deliver the result you requested.

App and device information

Apps may process account or installation identifiers, device information, app activity, network information and error reports. We use this information to operate features, understand usage, maintain reliability and prevent abuse.

Storage and sharing

Saved content may remain on your device or, where an app offers connected accounts or services, in cloud storage. Relevant conversation context may be retained for follow-up requests. Service providers help with hosting, authentication, storage, requested features, analytics and support. They may retain information under their own policies. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect users and the service.

Retention and your choices

Information is retained as needed to provide the service, maintain security and meet legal obligations. You choose what to submit and can manage device permissions in Settings. Use an app's deletion controls where available. Uninstalling an app removes its local data, subject to device backups, but does not automatically delete cloud or provider records.

Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information associated with our services, or for questions about a child's information. Include the app name and enough detail to locate your record. Additional rights may apply under your local law.

Security and other websites

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Websites and services you open from an app have their own privacy policies.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as our apps change. The latest version and update date will appear on this page.

Get help

Send us the app name, what happened and your device model. Please avoid including passwords or payment details.

Subscriptions & terms

Apple handles App Store purchases and subscriptions. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple. Manage or cancel a subscription in your device's Settings under your Apple Account and Subscriptions. If available in the app, use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account.

App Store apps use the Apple Standard End User License Agreement, unless a separate agreement is provided for that app.
